ทั้งนี้ ตลาดหุ้นเอเชียได้รับแรงกดดันจากการที่เจ้าหน้าที่เฟดยังคงออกมาสนับสนุนให้มีการปรับขึ้นอัตราดอกเบี้ย โดยล่าสุดเมื่อวานนี้ นายจอห์น วิลเลียมส์ ประธานเฟดสาขาซานฟรานซิสโก กล่าวว่า เฟดควรปรับขึ้นอัตราดอกเบี้ย 2-3 ครั้งในปีนี้ เนื่องจากอัตราเงินเฟ้อมีแนวโน้มที่จะเคลื่อนตัวสู่เป้าหมายของเฟดที่ระดับ 2% ในปีหน้า
