นายรพี สุจริตกุล เลขาธิการ สำนักงานคณะกรรมการกำกับหลักทรัพย์และตลาดหลักทรัพย์ (ก.ล.ต.) เปิดเผยว่า สำหรับการจัดทำ หลักธรรมาภิบาลการลงทุน สำหรับผู้ลงทุนสถาบัน เป็นหนึ่งในแนวทางการสร้างความน่าเชื่อถือให้แก่ตลาดทุนไทยตามแผนยุทธศาสตร์ ประจำปี 2559-2561 ที่ต้องการส่งเสริมให้ผู้ลงทุนสถาบันมีแนวปฏิบัติที่ดี ปฏิบัติหน้าที่อย่างเข้มแข็ง มีความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม ซึ่งจะส่งผลตอบแทนอย่างยั่งยืนกับผู้ลงทุน

อีกทั้งการตรวจสอบข้อมูลในปัจจุบันพบว่ามีบริษัทจดทะเบียนไทยขนาดใหญ่เตรียมที่จะออกเสนอขาย Perpetual bond ในช่วงที่เหลือของปีนี้จำนวน 4 ราย มูลค่าการเสนอขายรวม 3.2 หมื่นล้านบาท ได้แก่ บมจ.อินโดรามา เวนเจอร์ส จำกัด (IVL) มูลค่า 1.5 หมื่นล้านบาท, บมจ.บางจาก คอร์ปอเรชั่น (BCP) มูลค่า 1 หมื่นล้านบาท, บมจ.ไทยยูเนี่ยน กรุ๊ป (TU) มูลค่า 6,000 ล้านบาท, บมจ.บี.กริม เพาเวอร์ (BGRIM) มูลค่า 6,000 ล้านบาท
